Is SEO Really Dead?
I’m seeing a lot of experts in the industry saying SEO is dead. But is it really though?
I would like to put it differently. SEO is not dead, it is changing. SEO can not be termed static but it is something that keeps on changing over time.
In earlier days, it was all about keywords.
It still is, but now you have to be careful with it. You can’t just stuff a bunch of keywords and expect to be on top of the search. You offer valuable content to your audience, and between them, you can incorporate those keywords.
To keep it simple, Google focuses more on the user experience. If your work is relevant to the audience, you will be able to top the page, if the user is not happy, you are never going to be happy.
It is not something that can have a proven formula for it.
It is a process of trial and error. You can not rely on one road map to attract traffic for all kinds of websites. The approach has to be according to the audience to whom your product or service is served.
Far from dead, SEO is now more alive than it ever was. People are being more aware of the content strategies, their online presence, and their voices to be heard by their audience.
You can defiantly make strategies for your website to rank it on Google, but it all hands down to the algorithms. If they are in your favor then you will be succeeded in your task, but if you try to double-cross them, you are destined to be doomed.
Talking about algorithms, Google update them from time to time as you all may know. So, if you are doing your work without involving any shady techniques, these changes in algorithms will have no effect on your ranking, or the best that can happen, they can increase your ranking.
But if any amount of crookedness is involved, it may severely and negatively affect your business.
The bottom line is, that SEO was never and will never be dead. You just have to be honest with your audience in serving the right information and in the right way.
